Dreaming of 50s West Coast elegance, the Rayon Sports Shirt with its generous camp collar, pearl buttons and flapped patch pockets is all drape and slouch, a little luxury in our wardrobes. Based on the classic long sleeved Hawaiians and Resort style shirts of the 50s, it is a model cut to be worn bloused in to high waisted trousers. It speaks of ease and comfort and a quiet confidence, regardless of its print.
Our Rayons are woven and printed in Japan, with designs inspired by vintage pieces collected along the way. Our prints are chosen for their irreverence, and colours chosen to speak to how we dress - from the rich green coral print that so beautifully sets of cream linen, to the black based diamond print with accents of olive and brown, unexpected combinations that ease into the evening with black gaberdine. Worn tucked into a high waist trouser with a 1 inch belt, or underneath a suit buttoned to the neck, it is elegance minus formality. Left open at the neck and untucked, its square hem feels intentional, giving polish to denims or high waisted Gurkha shorts.
